This is a commission artwork.
Materials used are graphite pencils and a gold marker.
This commission was done for a couple who asked for various elements to feature in the artwork.
1. Nicknames
Their unique nicknames are in the background with a requested graffiti fond.
2. "My other half"
Symbolizing this quote, the artwork has a unique twist to a traditional portrait. The one half is the face of the woman and the other half is the face of the man. Together they make one whole.
3. Minimalistic
Monotone colors are used. Only grey from the pencil is used in the portrait drawing and only gold is used to fill the background.
