This is a commission artwork.
Materials used are black and white soft pastel.
The frame is made of black wood and a white mat.
It is protected by Art Glass. Compared to normal glass, Art Glass gives a professional finish to the frame as it doesn't reflect as much, giving the viewer more freedom to see the detail of the artwork behind it. In the right lighting, you actually struggle to see the Art Glass at all.
It was a pleasure making this commission. It is beautiful to see the love that parents have for their children. Family is very important to the artists of Calli Collection, thus we strive even harder for perfection when it comes to these portraits (even if that means taking a bit longer to finish it).
